The short version. We collect what you give us — your name, phone number, and your trip details — so we can send a car to the right place at the right time. We do not sell your personal information. Calls to our number are recorded, and we say so at the start of every call before you speak. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

| What | When | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Your name and phone number | When you book or call us | To confirm the ride and reach you if the chauffeur cannot find you |
| Pickup address, destination, date, time, occasion | When you book | This is the service — we cannot drive you anywhere without it |
| Flight number, if you give us one | Airport bookings | To track your flight and adjust pickup when it is early or late |
| Payment details | At payment | Handled entirely by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. |
| Call recordings and transcripts | When you call our number | To get your trip details right and follow up accurately |
| Basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) | When you visit this site | Security, blocking abuse, and seeing which pages are useful |
We do not ask for your email address to book a ride. The booking form collects a name and a phone number, and nothing more than the trip itself requires.
Calls to (773) 839-9211 are recorded and transcribed. Our assistant announces this at the very beginning of every call, before you say anything. Illinois law requires the consent of everyone on a call before it can be recorded; by staying on the line after that announcement, you are giving that consent.
If you would rather not be recorded, hang up and email [email protected] instead — we will book the same ride in writing.
Recordings and transcripts are used to get your booking right, to follow up on your trip, and to improve how the line handles calls. They are never sold and never used for advertising.
Our phone line is answered by an AI dispatcher, and it identifies itself as one. It can transfer you to a person at any point — just ask. It takes your trip details, quotes our published rates, and hands real bookings to a human.
The chat box in the corner of this site is an AI assistant, not a person. It says so on screen every time it opens, and it will tell you again if you ask.
Your conversation with it is recorded. We show you that before you type or speak a word — it is written in the assistant's window, above the message area, and it is on screen before the microphone can be switched on. If you would rather not be recorded, do not use the chat box: call us on (773) 839-9211, or email [email protected], and we will book the same ride.
Illinois requires the consent of everyone in a recorded conversation. By carrying on after that notice is shown, you are giving that consent, and we keep a record that you were shown it — see The record we keep of the notice below.
What the assistant sends where. To answer you, your messages are sent to two outside companies:
| Company | What they get | What they do with it |
|---|---|---|
| OpenAI | What you type or say, and what the assistant has said back | Works out the reply. OpenAI's API terms say they do not use this to train their models. |
| ElevenLabs | The text of the assistant's reply only, when you have spoken replies switched on | Turns that text into the voice you hear. They do not receive your typed messages. |
If you use the microphone, your speech is turned into text by your own browser, on your device, before anything leaves it. We do not send your voice recording anywhere. What leaves your device is the text.
What we do with it. Trip details you give the assistant go to a human at Driving Mogul, who confirms the ride. The assistant confirms nothing itself — it cannot, and it will tell you so. It has no calendar and never claims a car or a time is available.
Separately from the conversation itself, we keep a short record proving you were shown the recording notice. Each record contains:
We do not store your IP address in this record, or your city, or your location. We deliberately kept it to the least that could establish which state's law applies.
We keep these records for five years. That is not our choice — it is required by our contract with the voice provider, so that if a recording is ever disputed we can show exactly what you were told and when.
Only what is necessary, and only with the providers who actually run part of the service:
| Provider | What they handle |
|---|---|
| Your chauffeur | Your name, pickup, destination, and time — so they can complete the trip |
| Payment processor | Card payments. They receive the payment details; we receive confirmation. |
| Phone and voice-assistant provider | Call handling, recording, transcription |
| OpenAI (language model) | The words you exchange with the website assistant, so it can work out a reply |
| ElevenLabs (voice) | The text of the assistant's spoken replies, so it can generate the voice |
| Website host and security provider | Serving this site and blocking abuse |
| Messaging service | Alerting our dispatcher that you have booked or called |
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose information only where the law requires it.
Completed trip and payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require, generally seven years. Enquiries that never became a booking: up to two years. Phone call recordings and transcripts, and website chat conversations: up to twelve months, unless connected to a specific trip or a dispute. You can ask us to delete sooner.
One exception, and we want to be straight about it: the short record proving you were shown the recording notice is kept for five years, and a deletion request does not remove it. It is the evidence that we told you, so deleting it on request would defeat its only purpose. It holds no message you sent, no trip details, no phone number, no email address and no IP address — only the words of the notice, when it was shown, and a reference number. Everything else about your conversation is deleted when you ask.
To ask for deletion: email [email protected]. Tell us roughly when you used the chat and what you asked about, and we will find it. We will respond within 30 days.
Wherever you live, you may ask us to:
Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or another state with a consumer privacy law, those rights are yours by statute and this is the address you use to exercise them.
We may text you about your specific ride — chauffeur assigned, vehicle arriving, delays. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help. Agreeing to marketing texts is never a condition of booking a ride.
This site is intended for adults booking transportation. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. Children are of course welcome as passengers — that booking is made by an adult, and child seats are covered in our Terms of Service.
We use encrypted connections and limit who can see your information. No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise — if a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
