These terms are the agreement between you and Driving Mogul when you use this site or book a ride with us. Booking a ride means you accept them.
The short version. We are a private chauffeur service, not a taxi and not a rideshare app. A booking is a request until we confirm it. Our published airport rates are flat; hourly work is charged by the hour with a minimum. Tolls, parking, extended waiting, and extra stops are added to the fare. Tell us as early as you can if plans change.
Driving Mogul, 9029 S Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60643 · [email protected] · (773) 839-9211. We provide pre-arranged luxury ground transportation in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
Submitting the form or telling our dispatcher your details is a request, not a confirmed reservation. Your ride is confirmed when we confirm it back to you. We do this because a vehicle and a chauffeur have to actually be available at that time — a confirmation you can rely on is worth more than an instant one you cannot.
Give us accurate pickup and destination addresses, an accurate time, and a phone number you will actually answer on the day. The single most common cause of a missed pickup is an unanswered phone.
Our published airport rates are flat rates — they do not change if traffic is bad. Hourly work is charged by the hour with a minimum booking.
| Service | Rate |
|---|---|
| O'Hare ↔ Downtown Chicago, sedan | $75 flat |
| SUV upgrade on a flat-rate airport transfer | +$25 |
| Hourly — sedan | $75 per hour |
| Hourly — SUV | $95 per hour |
| Other routes, weddings, corporate accounts | Quoted before you book |
Added to the fare where they apply: tolls and parking at cost, extended waiting beyond the free window below, additional stops not in the original booking, and any airport or venue access fee we are charged.
Gratuity is included in your quoted price, and there is no surge pricing — ever. The number we quote is the number you pay for the trip as booked. You are never expected to tip on top, and the price does not rise because it is raining, because it is New Year's Eve, or because demand is high. If you want to add something extra for a chauffeur who went out of their way, that is entirely your choice and never an expectation.
Quotes are valid for the trip as described. If the trip materially changes — a different destination, more passengers than the vehicle seats, hours beyond what was booked — the fare changes with it, and we will tell you before it does.
| Pickup type | Free waiting | After that |
|---|---|---|
| Airport arrival (domestic) | 45 minutes after the flight actually lands | Charged at the applicable hourly rate, billed in 15-minute increments |
| Airport arrival (international) | 60 minutes after the flight actually lands | Charged at the applicable hourly rate, billed in 15-minute increments |
| All other pickups | 15 minutes from the booked time | Charged at the applicable hourly rate, billed in 15-minute increments |
We track your flight. If you give us a flight number, we adjust the pickup when the flight is early or late, and the free waiting window starts when the aircraft actually lands — not at the time you originally booked.
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| More than 2 hours before pickup (standard sedan/SUV) | Cancel or change free of charge |
| Within 2 hours of pickup | May be charged up to the full fare, because the vehicle and chauffeur are already committed |
| No-show — nobody at the pickup and no answer on the phone after the free waiting window | Charged as a completed trip |
| Weddings, hourly charters, and multi-vehicle bookings | Governed by the written quote we send you, which sets its own notice period and deposit terms |
| We cancel on you | Full refund, and we will do our best to find you another vehicle |
Change a booking by calling (773) 839-9211 or emailing [email protected]. Call, do not only text, if the ride is within two hours.
No smoking or vaping of anything, in any vehicle, at any time. Open alcohol is not permitted where the law prohibits it. Illegal drugs are never permitted. If the vehicle needs professional cleaning after your trip — spills, sickness, smoke — you are responsible for that cost, charged at what it actually costs us, and we will show you the invoice.
Our chauffeurs may end a trip early where a passenger is threatening, violent, or breaking the law, or where continuing would be unsafe. In that situation the fare remains payable. This is a safety rule and it is not negotiable.
We plan routes to get you there on time, and we track flights so we are there when you land. But we cannot control traffic, weather, road closures, or an airport shutting down. We are not liable for losses caused by delays outside our reasonable control — including a missed flight, a missed connection, or a missed event.
If you have a flight to catch, book earlier than you think you need to and tell us the flight time. We would far rather wait for you than watch you miss it.
Payment is handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. Corporate accounts may be invoiced on agreed terms. Where a card is held for a booking, we charge it after the trip, or on a late cancellation or no-show as set out above.
Corporate, wedding, and event work is quoted individually and governed by the written agreement or quote we send you. Where that agreement and these terms conflict, that agreement wins.
Tell us as soon as you notice — [email protected] or (773) 839-9211. We will check the vehicle and arrange to return anything found, at your cost for shipping. We hold found items for 30 days. We are not liable for property left in a vehicle.
The text, images, and design on this site belong to us. Do not copy them for commercial use without written permission, do not scrape or attack the site, and do not use our name or logo without permission.
Read this part. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to
you for any claim connected to a trip is limited to the amount you actually paid us for
that trip. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost income, a missed
flight, a missed meeting, or a missed opportunity.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death
or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. We carry the commercial insurance
Illinois requires of a livery operator. Some states do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of
this may not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Talk to us first — email [email protected] and we will genuinely try to sort it out. If we cannot, disputes go to the state or federal courts in Cook County, Illinois, and both of us agree to that venue.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your ride is the one published when you booked it. We will update the date at the top whenever we change anything.
